On Saturday, May 16, the Brownwood Amateur Radio Club held its spring tailgate swap meet, with operators rolling into town, dropping their tailgates, and laying out gear, gadgets, and treasures old and new. Members spent the morning talking radio, sharing tips, learning from one another, and enjoying fresh donuts under a clear Texas sky. A little buying, a little selling, and a lot of good conversation made for a relaxed, community‑rich gathering.
